With the growing popularity of track days things are now getting a bit more competitive and simply  turning up on your road bike just isn’t enough for some plus the thought of high siding your new R1 doesn’t need thinking about. The common alternative most people go with is using a ex race bike. Race bikes get absolutely thrashed during there duration as a race bike and although they may have “special close ratio gears” or “one off cams” there is a good chance you will end up sitting out of sessions due to technical problems.  If you have a race bike and are unsure about what is what with it we will gladly go through it and advise accordingly to prevent such failures.  Another option is to have a bike built, opting for a slightly older model is a good advice as older “race parts” are available much cheaper and the package to suit you could be built at a much cheaper price than the cost of damage repair to your new road bike. We can locate donor bikes and supply them to you ready to go giving you the confidence that your machine is going to last the  day and perform just how you want.  If you do wish to use your road bike and want exchangeable modifications we can design and fit bodywork ect without hacking up your beloved road bike making it capable of turning back into a road bike when the day is done.

 Travelling abroad with track days now is a experience of a lifetime for most but travelling to hot climates your bike isn’t designed to run at can cause unexpected failures you wouldn’t of normally encountered in our cold climate. Modifications to radiators and cooling systems can aid but other machines  may require there fuelling  turning up to the rich side and ignitions may need retarding on some models . A engine running weak will not start when hot, if you get to Catalunya  and spend the day bumping your bike round the paddock I don’t think you will be none to pleased.
